Samantha Quist is an entrepreneur and self-taught software developer who is passionate about expanding access to technology education as a means to speed the pace of innovation globally.
As an early Product Marketing Manager at Google, Samantha led cross-functional teams and marketing campaigns that delivered millions of users to Google products. She also founded internet startup Copywriter Central, later acquired by a competitor, and led growth campaigns for big data startup Gnip, subsequently acquired by Twitter.
Today, Samantha is the Executive Director of Technovation, the global technology competition that challenges girls ages 10 to 18 to create mobile apps that solve problems in their communities. Samantha enjoys advocating for girls and women in leadership and also serves as Board President for Stanford Cap and Gown, the university’s oldest organization of women leaders. Samantha holds a B.A. in Urban Studies from Stanford University
