Alexandra Bech Gjørv was instated as President and CEO of SINTEF from 2016, the largest independent research institution in Scandinavia. She is an experienced industrial leader from companies like Statoil and Hydro where she has been in charge of New Energy strategies, Human resources, Health & Safety, Climate and Anti-corruption.
She was partner at the law-firm Hjort (Norway) until 2015 and headed the national inquiry following the terror attacks on the 22nd of July 2011. Alexandra has had multiple positions on boards and as chairperson of the board in industry, energy and media.
Alexandre Bech Gjørv has law degrees from University in Oslo, Oxford University, and Suffolk Law School in Boston.
