Lasse works as a Creative Director and brand strategist at BERRE. As one of Norway´s most recognized fashion and advertising photographers for more than 20 years he strongly believes in visual communication based on solid strategic concepts.
He studied photography at Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara and later moved to Los Angeles where he worked as a photographer within fashion and advertising until 1996, when he left California and founded BERRE in his hometown of Trondheim.
20 years later BERRE works with market leading Norwegian brands such as TINE, Kari Traa, Craft, Adidas and SpareBank1. In 2009 Lasse joined Atmel Corporation in Silicon Valley for two years as their Creative Director of Corporate Marketing and played a key role in the corporations rebranding and very successful launch of maXTouch, the world´s leading touch technology at the time.
Lasse has also done notable charity work with developing and executing awareness campaigns for organizations such as The Norwegian Cancer Association and The Norwegian People´s Aid.
He works in close association with The Norwegian University of Science and Technology, both as a communication advisor and concept developer. He was part of the developing team behind PAI, the new and scientifically proven way to track activity, making the front page of the Wall Street Journal, and is now an advisor to the board of directors of Vancouver based company Mio Global. Lasse is advisor to several executives and business leaders, and is a well known keynote speaker in topics such as creativity, strategy and innovation.
